Nicole Wallace, LCSW
Nicole Wallace, LCSW is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders, Anxiety, and Trauma. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice in 2011, Nicole gained extensive experience providing individual, group, and family therapy to a diverse range of populations in both educational and behavioral health settings.
Prior to working on Long Island, Nicole held clinical positions in the educational and child welfare arenas in New York City. While working in NYC, Nicole developed and strengthened trauma-focused treatment practices, which have allowed her to effectively work with children and adolescents experiencing trauma-related symptoms. Upon moving to Long Island, Nicole worked as a clinician at ASPIRE Center for Learning and Development. It was through her training and subsequent practice there that her passion for working with neurodevelopmental, social emotional, and learning disorders blossomed. With extensive experience and a deep understanding of Autism/Asperger’s, Anxiety, and Trauma, Nicole opened her own practice in 2016 to continue doing the work she finds so meaningful.
Nicole brings warmth, compassion, and a sense of humor to her practice. She utilizes a multi-faceted approach to best guide her clients towards making positive changes, primarily drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), Sand Play Therapy, and Mindfulness.
Outside of her clinical work, Nicole enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with her family.
